This winery has a long tradition of making superb Cabernet Sauvignon wines. The land, prized for its ability to create award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon, has grown this grape since the 1800s. The winery was first built and began operating in 1979 by the Finklestein brothers, a well-known vintner family. The Leonardini Family bought the winery in 1993 and continues the tradition of certified and sustainable growing practices, prizing quality over quantity.
With the Macamas Mountains serving as a dramatic backdrop, Whitehall Lane Winery has a modern exterior vibe, a perfect patio for relaxing and quaffing that delicious Chardonnay, and a cozy interior for those looking for a respite from the sun. Complete with knowledgeable and friendly staff, it’s a place to relax, enjoy stellar wines and plot your next winery visit.
While there, try their Belmuscato Dessert Wine. Lovely, without the cloying sweetness of so many dessert wines, I see this wine as a perfect accompaniment for much more than just dessert (think spicy foods or cheeses).
