Hi! We’re Cassius & Theresa.

After years of being immersed in California's wine country, we were inspired to dive deep into the world of wine and the vineyards behind them.

Theresa's wine journey began in 2012 when she earned the Certified Wine Professional certification from the Culinary Institute of America, Greystone. She then gathered more certifications from WSET, the Society of Wine Educators, Napa Valley Wine Academy, Italian Wine Central, and the Wine Scholar Guild, eventually achieving the prestigious Certified Sommelier certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers. Similarly, Cassius embarked on his wine education, becoming a Certified Wine Specialist through the Society of Wine Educators. He accumulated an impressive array of certifications from WSET.

We are passionate wine lovers, having mastered the books and the wine jargon, so you don't have to. We aim to simplify high-level wine concepts and make them accessible to everyone. During our extensive research (and countless tastings), we found ourselves captivated by private, family-owned wineries.
